Long Term Player Development
RED Academy of Soccer truly prides itself on being a safe, fun, challenging and professional training environment. We fully support and comply with the 7 stages of the LTPD model. Our age-stage appropriate training reflects and supports the values and philosophy set out by Ontario Soccer daily. We believe strongly in LTPD. More importantly, we model and exhibit these values and philosophy every day within the training environment. The technical curriculum and improving the individual skill set of every player is an integral part of our player development model. At RED, we prioritize the individual needs of the athletes and aim to improve the core skills at grassroots age groups. This foundational phase is integral to prepare them technically, tactically, socially/emotionally.
Grassroots Development
RED Academy of Soccer prides itself on developing the player from the ground up. Grassroots development is at the heart of everything we do and we are committed to being the best in the region at developing the player from the Grassroots ages.
RED Academy of Soccer follows the Ontario Soccer Grassroots Standards.

Glasgow Rangers FC
As part of the agreement, RED Academy of Soccer will host a Rangers Soccer School program annually and send players to Glasgow to participate in their Elite Residential Programs. RED will receive coach education resources, and additional player identification opportunities.

University and College
Technical Director Peter Mackie and Club Head Coach Stuart Mackie currently run the Mens and Womens Varsity programs at Conestoga College in Kitchener. Prior to joining the Condors, Peter spent 16 years as the Head Coach of the Waterloo Warriors of the OUA and USPORTS.
During their time coaching in both the USPORTS and CCAA, Peter and Stuart have built numerous personal relationships with coaches in both divisions. These connections have become vital tools in their efforts to graduate players into post-secondary sports.
RED staff work with players to plan and work towards college and university opportunities.
RED teams attend showcase events in Ontario and USA to give athletes opportunities to impress coaches and scouts.

League1 Ontario
